[광우병] 홍콩의 미국산 쇠고기 수입조건

2010년 5월 4일 최종 개정된 규정에 따르면 홍콩은 미국산 쇠고기에 대해 30개월 미만 뼈 없는 살코기만을 수입허용하고 있으며, 수출증명(EV) 프로그램을 요구하고 있습니다.
 
수입금지 부위(Ineligible product 도 뼈 있는 쇠고기를 비롯하여 분쇄육, 횡격막, 내장, 선진회수육(AMR) 등으로 엄격하게 제한되어 있습니다.

Eligible/Ineligible Products

Eligible product

Fresh/frozen red meat and red meat products, including fresh/frozen boneless beef, hanging tenders, dry aged boneless beef, beef inside skirts, and further processed boneless beef derived from cattle less than 30 months of age. Eligible boneless beef must be produced under an approved AMS Export Verification (EV) program for beef to Hong Kong. Information about the EV program for Hong Kong and a list of BEV approved establishments can be obtained from AMS’ Web site. Requirements for the use of dedicated equipment are part of the EV program for Hong Kong and can be obtained from the AMS website.  Eligible product must be derived from cattle slaughtered on or after the approval date on the AMS list.*




Ineligible product

Bone-in beef, ground beef, beef trimmings, other boneless beef from skeletal muscle indistinguishable from beef trimmings, beef diaphragm other than hanging tenders, beef cheek and head meat, beef offal, and beef derived from advanced meat recovery systems.
