복합 위기의 상황 속에서 대안적 체계를 고민하고 실천하는 움직임도 커지고 있습니다. 모두를 만족시키는 사랑스런 세계 전망은 없어 보이지만 이런 시기일수록 역사를 돌아봄과 동시에 동시대의 다양한 실천들을 살펴보는 일은 중요해 보입니다. 이런 관점을 가지고 연구공동체 건강과대안은 라틴 아메리카 지역에서 활발한 실천을 벌여왔던 사회의학(social medicine)의 경험과 비전을 공부해 보는 공간을 가져보고자 합니다.
주요 텍스트는 라틴 아메리카 사회의학 교재와 함께 최근 의료/건강 영역에서 제안되고 있는 대안 논의들을 학술 논문 중심으로 살펴봅니다. 이번 세미나는 직장인들과 지역에 계신 분들을 고려하여 평일 저녁 시간 온라인으로 진행 합니다. 관심 있는 분들의 참여를 기대합니다.
